Nurse Manager * 118042: Northwestern, Oregon

MedAdventures is looking for a skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager, OR Wound Services to join one of our partners in Northwestern Oregon.

Responsibilities:

• Provides collaborative leadership for the process of planning, directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high quality services.
• Responsible for operations of assigned department(s). 
• Provides oversight as needed; responsible for personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements and strategic planning. 
• Works in a clinical capacity to facilitate smooth functioning of the department when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• One (1) of the following required:
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN License, BSN or equivalent nursing experience, Wound Care Certification (e.g. CWCN, CWOCN, or WCC) and three (3) years experience in Med/Surg, ICU and/or Surgery.
  • Current unencumbered Oregon licensed Nurse Practitioner.
• One (1) year experience in an Outpatient department leadership role required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Nursing Experience in Critical Care or Surgery preferred.
• LCH Wound Ostomy:
  • Two (2) years wound care experience required.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Full time, days, 110-166k/yr dependent on experience

Facility Information:

• Our facility treats acute or chronic wounds caused by diabetes, surgery, injury, poor blood flow and/or other problems. 
• The scope of practice is physician driven and centered around wound, ostomy and continence care while maintaining additional adjunctive therapies such as vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine.
