- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients to improve mobility and alleviate pain.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
- Instruct patients in exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, and coordination.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in proper working order.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and exercises to continue at home for optimal recovery.
- Must possess a valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New Jersey.
- Demonstrated proficiency in assisting with patient care and physical therapy treatments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and document patient progress accurately.
- Experience with various physical therapy equipment and techniques is preferred.
