- Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure that therapy equipment is clean and properly maintained.
- Qualifications
- An associate degree or relevant certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- A minimum of one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required.
