- Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy (OT) Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist the Occupational Therapist in providing quality care to patients and help them improve their daily living and working skills.
- Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing treatment plans for patients.
- Help patients perform therapeutic activities as outlined in their treatment plan.
- Document patient progress and report back to the Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area.
- Educate patients and their families about the use of adaptive equipment and techniques.
- Qualifications
- COTA certification or equivalent qualification.
- Able to work independently under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds if necessary for patient assistance.
- BLS certification preferred but not required.

- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in using adaptive equipment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients.
