Responsibilities
  • Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients to improve their daily living and working skills.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are clean and organized.
  • Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home to enhance therapy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment plans.

Qualifications
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care and support.
