Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Milford, DE. In this role, you’ll work alongside physical therapists to help residents enhance their mobility, regain independence, and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans as directed by licensed Physical Therapists.
  • Support residents with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and other rehabilitation interventions.
  • Monitor and document resident progress, making note of improvements or necessary adjustments.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
  • Educate residents and families on at-home exercises and safety practices to support recovery.
  • Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
  • Active PTA license in Delaware or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
