Position Overview:
As a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including but not limited to conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients regain function, improve quality of life, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for pelvic floor dysfunction.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education.
  • Provide guidance on pelvic floor exercises, lifestyle modifications, and self-management techniques.
  • Educate patients about pelvic health and wellness, addressing any concerns and questions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies.
Qualifications:
  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Michigan.
  • Specialization or training in pelvic floor therapy preferred.
  • Experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
