We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist (PT) at our SNF in Virginia Beach, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation process for elderly patients and those recovering from illness or injury. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans, provide therapy, and monitor progress to ensure that residents reach their fullest potential for physical recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ physical therapy needs.
Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs focused on improving mobility, strength, and daily function.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and occupational therapists, to provide holistic care.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and wellness strategies.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents during therapy sessions.
Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Virginia.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar long-term care setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate, patient-focused approach to rehabilitation.
Ability to work well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
