Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, oral examinations, and patient education on oral hygiene practices.
- Administer fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive measures.
- Take dental X-rays and assist with patient assessments.
- Educate patients on oral health and preventative care, with a focus on patient populations who may have limited access to dental services.
- Collaborate with dentists and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure proper sanitation protocols.
Requirements:
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania.
- Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Experience working with underserved or diverse patient populations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
